Rights to Footage Collected:
Edmonton Paranormal Society and its clients both have rights to the footage collected to be used for their websites, lectures, presentations, or publicity. Edmonton Paranormal Society will respect the wishes of their clients in keeping their confidentiality and removing any identifying traits such as landmarks, faces, names, etc. Clients may request access to the footage collected at their location for up to one year after the original investigation date. Edmonton Paranormal Society reserves the right to dispose of footage after one year has passed, but notes, written files, and footage of interest will be archived for future reference.
Requirements for an Investigation:
Clients must rent or own the property being investigated. Clients must also be 18 years of age or older or have written guardian consent prior to Edmonton Paranormal Societys arrival on the location. Clients must also disclose any potential physical hazards or danger to the investigators.
Refundable Deposit:
Edmonton Paranormal Society has many requests for investigations and in order to maintain availability for severe cases we may request a $50.00 deposit for booking an investigation date that will be refunded upon arrival at the location for the investigation. This may be waived under certain circumstances and is under the discretion of the lead investigator.
We require a courtesy of 24 hours notice for in-town investigation cancellations, and 48 hours for all out of town investigation cancellations. Once again, this is to maintain availability for other clients, as well as to avoid any unnecessary fees that our investigators may incur when planning for your investigation.
Our goal is to be able to help you understand your experiences. We do not think you are crazy nor are you alone in having had experiences. We deal with extreme cases of paranormal activity and some of us deal with our own psychic abilities on a day to day basis. We understand what you are going through and will do our best to be able to help you.
Please keep in mind that we all work full-time jobs and have families, we conduct investigations in our free time and fund our research from our own pockets. If you would like to help us in our mission please feel free to donate equipment, money, or even Canadian Tire money to help us fund our group. If you are a business and would like to sponsor our group, please contact us and we will be more than happy to speak with you. We do not sell space on our website for banners, all friends of Edmonton Paranormal Society are groups, businesses, or individuals that requested our support and we choose to support.
If you would like your banner on our friends page, please contact us at admin_edmontonparanormal.ca and we can discuss the terms. If you do not have a banner, the webmaster may create you one for a fee of 5 dollars. All banners prepared should be standard web banner size (468x60) and in a photo format such as .jpeg, .gif, or .png.
